This was one of the best rock concerts I've seen in a long time. Being only a few feet from Slash, I got to experience what the band experienced, from a fan's perspective. Prior to VR's show, Slash joined Alice In Chains for the 'Rooster' song, and Duff thanked AIC for touring with them. This was AIC's last night. VR's gig began with the former GNR announcer announcing VR...Southaven!! From Hollywood!! The band that put the 'Punk' back in Punktuality!! VELVET REVOLVER!! Slash's silhouette showed behind the dark curtain and Let It Roll began. 90 minutes later, the band satisfied the 10,000+ crowd with a heavy dose of VR, GNR, and STP.

I filmed the entire VR gig if anybody wants a copy on DVD.

I got sixth row tickets!! I can't WAIT for this show!! Ever since I discovered Slash 3 years ago (I'm only 17) It's been my dream to see him live! This show is gonna be the highlight of my life! The only possible better thing would be to meet slash! I would probably get him to sign the back plate of my les paul!!
